Saturday Scene

Messy Church is a way of being church for families that is found across the world.  Ours is called Saturday Scene (yes – we meet on a Saturday!)

We offer a very friendly welcome to families (from babies to grandparents) and give an informal space every 2nd Saturday in the month (apart from August) to explore together the Christian faith.  We create crafts, have fun, have a time of worship with a story and a song and then finish with tea.  We meet 4 – 5.15 pm at St Margaret’s Centre, Kenwin Close, Stratton St Margaret, Swindon, SN3 4NY.

As we cannot meet in person for now please find a links below to the story of Mosesin four parts. Read by Mary Crichton from the "Children of God Storybook Bible" by Nobel Peace Prize Winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Published by Collins and Harper Collins Children’s Books.  Fall of Jerico

Dear all

As Halloween approaches you may be thinking of carving out some pumpkins.  As Christians, we do not celebrate Halloween, but realise that it has become something that many do in this country now just for the fun of it.  Therefore I have attached a different way of carving your pumpkins and hope that you give it a go this year.  If you don’t follow the attachment then maybe you can make your pumpkins look happy to celebrate all the good things in life instead.

If you do, why not send me a photo of your results!

Happy carving
